Ride for 9-11!! Tomorrow.
Please remember to pass this along to anyone you know. It would be helpful if you posted it on Facebook/Twitter or sent out emails for your local cycling/Tri clubs. Even if you don't ride, hopefully you'll come down to start or midpoint and say hi. Or the finish, where we will have a moment of silence for everyone who gave everything on 9-11 and those who have continued protecting us afar.
Here are the details for the 2nd Ride for 9-11. We will be starting at 7-11 in Seal Beach on PCH (see address below) at 9:00am tomorrow morning. We will head south, 14 miles to Newport Beach at Alta Coffee(see address Below) for a short break. We will continue south to Laguna Beach, finishing at Scandia Coffee Shop(see address below).
I will be riding from Playa Del Rey to the Seal Beach start (30 extra miles). This will be a little faster pace and nonstop to the "True Start" at 0900hrs in Seal Beach. There are about 3-5 of us doing this already. So please come ride with us a little early if you like. We are pushing off at 6:40am from my place. Please call me so I can have some coffee ready for you and wait for you.

Please know the route, there will not be any road markers. It's a very easy route but you need to know the midpoint regroup and finish point. We will be on PCH for 99% of the ride. This is obviously an "Open Course". Please remember you need to obey all traffic laws. The total ride is 24.79 miles. I'm expecting the ride will conclude between 11:00am to 12:00pm. Please arrange for your own transportation after the finish. There will no be any shuttles or transportation provided. This ride is free to all and will not be providing any course support, water, or nutrition, please pack accordingly.
Cheers,
Scott Smith
